Handling & Care

Designed for the dental team

Daily wipe-down

At the end of every list, wipe the chamber and cradle with a lint-free cloth and 70% IPA. Allow to dry before powering off.

Weekly check

Inspect the lid hinge, motion sensor window and cable connector. Tighten or clean as required.

Lamp replacement

The lamp module is user-replaceable. The screen prompts ahead of expiry. See the manual for the swap procedure.

Sterilisation

SQUVA is a UV photofunctionalisation device. The implant inside it is already sterile-packed by its manufacturer; SQUVA does not replace autoclave sterilisation of surgical instruments.

Workspace placement

Place on a flat, dry surface on the surgical countertop or trolley. Allow ~10 cm clearance behind for ventilation.

Sterile field

The motion-sensor lid is intentional — gloved hands never need to touch the housing. The chamber is the only contact surface.
